“Thanks for believing in my call!”
AG Next Generation Grant Recipient
Asheville, North Carolina
“I'd like to say thank you, AG Trust partners, for believing in my call to ministry. The financial support you help provide for ministerial graduates like me is an encouragement! It is helping to lift the financial burden as I pursue ministry and as my husband, Aaron, and I provide for our three little ones!”
Jada is a graduate of both the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, and Southeastern Assemblies of God University in Lakeland, Florida.
But finding ministerial placement took more time than Jada had anticipated. “My husband, Aaron, and I were really in a tight spot financially because of my student debt and I had no job,” Jada says.
While looking for a ministry position, Jada worked as a preschool teacher and taught English as a Second Language (ESL) online. The Morgans, along with their children, had even made the choice to live with family for the time being.
Then Jada heard about the AG Next Generation Grant. “I found out about the grant by the grace of God, as I was scrolling through my newsfeed on Facebook! When I saw that I met the requirements, I applied.”
Jada will begin working as a children’s pastor at a church in Asheville, North Carolina, this month.
Every year the AG Trust Next Generation Grant is awarded to a select number of graduates from the 17 Assemblies of God colleges and universities to assist them with educational loan repayment and help them enter ministry sooner.
In 2018, AGTrust awarded $125,000 to 14 grant recipients. We were able to award 61 more grants ($245,000) to graduates, thanks to our partnership with the AG Center for Leadership and Stewardship Excellence (CLSE). https://clse.ag.org
